SPRING BREAK POLICY

 

  1. A Parent must reserve all reservations during spring break. 
  2. There must be one (1) parent for every two (2) vacationing guests between the ages of 15 - 25.
  3. Rivard of South Walton, Inc. will not put a reservation in the name of a vacationing guest(s) age twenty five (25) and under. 
  4. Rivard of South Walton, Inc. must have a valid credit card on file before a reservation can be deemed confirmed.
  5. If there are any damages in a rental property, the credit card on file will be charged for the amount of, and we will forward copies of the damages and charges to the person whom Rivard of South Walton, Inc. has on file as the guarantor of the reservation. 
  6. We must receive a copy of each of the parent’s driver’s license that will be staying in the rental property prior to arrival.  Please attach to this document and return.
  7. Keys will only be given out during business hours and only to the person whose name the reservation is booked in.   No “after hours” check-ins will be allowed during Spring Break time period.
  8. If the parent(s) leave rental property and are not physically staying there, the occupants will be evicted immediately.
  9. All occupants will be evicted immediately if the Walton County Sheriff’s Department is called to a rental property for any reason. 
  10. Eviction will constitute the forfeiture of all monies paid.

I, THE REGISTERED GUEST AND CREDIT CARD HOLDER, HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE ABOVE POLICY AND CONFIRM THE ABOVE INFORMATION GIVEN IS CORRECT AND VALID.  I ALSO AUTHORIZE RIVARD OF SOUTH WALTON TO CHARGE THE ABOVE CREDIT CARD FOR THE AMOUNT OF ANY DAMAGES THAT ARE INCURRED TO THE RENTAL PROPERTY DURING MY RESERVATION DATES.

                The undersigned_____________________________________(name of registered guest), Herein (collectively) referred to as the “Renter” acknowledges that the property being rented, _____________________________________, Santa Rosa Beach, Walton County, Florida, the owner, through its agent, Rivard realty of South Walton, Inc. for the period _______________through__________________ has an in-ground swimming pool which may cause an inherent risk to Renter and any occupants or other guest, including children.  Renter hereby accepts the risk of the pool and specifically agrees that no minor children shall swim in the pool without continuous adult supervision.  Minor children are defined herein as children under the age of 18 years.  Renter, Renter’s children and guest shall use the pool only in a safe and healthy manner and shall undertake no acts which might risk injury or death in the use of the pool.  Renter hereby assumes full control and full responsibility for the use of the in-ground swimming pool during the rental period.

 

                THE UNDERSIGNED RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT THE OWNER AND HIS/HER AGENTS, INCLUDING RIVARD OF SOUTH WALTON, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY, ACCIDENT OR DELAY WHICH MAY BE SUFFERED BY RENTER, RENTER’S FAMILY, CHILDREN, GUEST, INVITEES OR LICENSEES BY REASON OF: (1) RENTERS FAILURE TO FULFILL ANY CONDITION OF THIS DISCLAIMER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY OR THE RENTAL AGREEMENT; (2) RENTER’S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY REQUIREMENTS IMPOSED BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY; (3) ANY JUDGEMENT, LIEN OR OTHER EMCUMBANCE FILED AGAINST THE RENTED PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF RENTER’S ACTIONS; OR (4) THE NEGLIGENT ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THE OWNER OR ANY OF HIS/HER AGENTS; AND THE UNDERSIGNED SPECIFICALLY RELEASE(S) THE OWNER AND HIS/HER AGENTS THEREFROM.

 

                THE HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH POOL ALARMS ON THE DOORS THAT OPEN ONTO THE POOL AREA - DO NOT DISCONNECT THEM.  THE ALARMS ARE THERE FOR YOUR PROTECTION AND ARE REQUIRED BY FLORIDA LAW.  IF YOU DISCOVER A POOL ALARM INOPERABLE, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY SO REPAIRS CAN BE MADE.   RENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT AN AUTOMATIC FINE WILL BE CHARGED FOR COSTS INCURRED RESULTING FROM TAMPERING WITH OR DAMAGING THE POOL ALARM(S).FINES COULD RANGE FROM $100 UP TO $350.00, DEPENDING ON ALARM SYSTEMS.
